Over the years we have raised funds through a variety of events ranging from quiz nights, raffles, pig racing, production of a village calendar, etc.
In recent times our small committee have concentrated on principally three forms of fundraising; The Trading Post nearly-new shop and two annual events; the Brewood Cycle Challenge in June and the Brewood Woggle in September.
The Trading Post is our nearly-new shop located in the heart of the village in the market square. Manned by volunteers the shop sells donated items to the local community and visitors.
The Brewood Cycle Challenge attracts some 700+ people to the village each year who take part in riding a choice of two road cycling routes. The event, a British Cycling registered sportive, has become a very popular event in the local cycling calendar.
The Brewood Woggle is a 10K road race licenced by UK Athletics. The event attracts around 100+ runners who take part in the main race as well as many children who enter the children races.
